Future Tense in Spanish
There are two ways to express things in the future in Spanish.
Conjugated “Ir” + a + infinitive of the verb (be going to)

1st Person | voy | vamos |
2nd Person | vas | vais |
3rd Person | va | van |
No voy a hablar español contigo porque estoy aprendiendo inglés.
I am not going to speak Spanish with you since I am learning English.
The infinitive form of the verb can be connected with pronouns.
¿Qué vas a decirle a él? What are you going to tell him?
Future tense (will+be)
In order to construct the conjugation in future tense, you are not required to drop the ending as you were doing in the other tense.
-AR/-ER/-IR Verb (-ré, -rás, -rá, -remos, -réis, -rán)
Trabajar to work | Singular | Plural |
1st Person | trabajaré I will work | trabajaremos We will work |
2nd Person | trabajarás You will work | trabajaréis You will work |
3rd Person | trabajará He/She/You will work | trabajarán They will work |
