Introducing Yourself in Spanish
I would like to talk about the introduction in Spanish. Introducing yourself is what you do first when you meet a new friend or new people at work. I listed bunch of expressions that you can use when you meet new people, and I also put both, formal and informal expressions. Of course if you are in the professional settings like meeting, you would want to use the formal version, whereas you just can be informal with your new friends.

Buenos días, buenas tardes, buenas noches. Good morning, afternoon, evening
¿Qué tal? What’s up? (Informal)
¿Qué pasa? What’s up? (Informal)
¿Cómo estás? How are you? (Informal)
¿Cómo está usted? How are you? (Formal)
-Todo bien. Everything is fine.
-Más o menos. So-so.
-(Muy) bien, mal. (Very) well, bad.
¿Cómo te llamas? What is your name? (Informal) (Literally means “How do you call yourself”)
¿Cómo se llama usted? What is your name? (Formal) (Literally means “How do you call yourself”)
¿Cuál es tu nombre? What is your name?
